The Effects of Re-Education Program for Inactive Nurses

Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects that the reeducation program have on the nursing professionalism and confidence on performance of nursing for inactive nurses.

Method: A non-equivalent one group pretest-posttest design was used in the study. Eighty inactive nurses participated in this study. The data were collected from October 20 to November 28, 2008. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and paired t-test with SPSS/Win 17.0 program.

Results: There was a significant difference of confidence on performance of nursing. However, there was no significant difference in nursing professionalism between pre education and post education.

Conclusion: It is necessary to develop proper a various of education program for increasing nursing professional and confidence of inactive nurses.
